This small zoo is set in an acre of woodland garden above the attractive coastal village of Shaldon.

Shaldon Widlife Trust look after, and help preserve, some of the rarest and most endangered animals in the world.
The animals kept here act as ambassadors for their own species, or those closely related. Visotors can learn about the problems they face in their natural habitats and how we can collectively prevent them from becoming extinct.
Opening hours

Built in the late 1920's and early 1930's, the beautiful gardens were devised by Maria Kempe Homeyard
